8.3.2026 trip a couple weeks back was amazing: collected so many gorgeous rocks from the lake, bought books at a cool leftie bookstore, played lots of games and read books and hiked to a natural oddity, where a small waterfall disappears into a hole and scientists still aren't 100% sure where it comes out got a lot done this weekend so the apartment feels more put together, though it doesn't take long for me to feel behind again. want to install more hanging shelves ASAP for displaying all our treasures. sometimes it feels too cluttered, but any time someone comes over, they always say they love all our stuff. surpassed 350k words in my dream journal as of today, just moved it over to ellipsis because it feels less likely to get AI scraped from there than discord. got some simple binoculars + a goofy little zoom lens that clips onto my phone, hoping they'll up the quality of my bird watching at least a little. 7.12.2026 while i haven't been updating often, i check special.fish almost daily, reading what everyone posts is so endearing. i hope you all keep sharing your thoughts and ideas and dreams and memories. july so far: ➼small bunnies running around outside my office ➼discovering more forests deep in the cities and suburbs ➼enjoying outdoors exhibits and a movie about volcanoes at a local museum (and buying some new stones... i <3 rocks) ➼more swans at one of my favorite nature preserve ➼pokemon go's 10th anniversary festival - 7.5 miles of walking in and out of 90°f weather we'll be heading out on an adventure up north a week from today and i think it's going to reset my brain. 17.17.1717 send me a letter - oneironaut17@gmail.com
