full weekend. another cold front hit last night. high winds had the forest moving. no sleep again. oh well. jacket weather today. the cat and dog are snuggling to keep warm. ramen for lunch. slow day at work, but i know that means a busy week.

a full moon week is one with little sleep. going for a nice dinner tonight. will be norteño style, so lots of asada and that means meat. will diet until then. sunny mornings and cloudy afternoons. i hope the cold front is over today. my feet have been ice cubes all week.

i am around 206 bones in length—
a tent of a human:
my skin is just a sack
for carrying myself
around in
beautiful beings
bleeding and breathing
i am here for this
i am the colour of mirror
whatever colour that is
maybe soft shades of skin
or soft hands that sometimes work
or soft memories about you
every earthly
emotion escaping
and i am here for this
i am two kidneys
and a lousy liver
i am somewhere behind
these radial furrows, but
you might know me by them
intricately inquisitive
imagining impossibilities
and i am here for this
i am 32 teeth—all
clanking around my skull
i am 43 years, if you
can count them right,
just not all in a row
favoring fantasy
feverishly frenetic
and i am here for this:
here for the chisme—
though i know it is bad
here among the bodies
the trees and the rivers
