(₍🌱₎) ╢⚈…◕╟ ❮❝ head in the clouds 😶‍🌫️ ❞❫ ❧ new chapbook written in tijuana for september ➡ @kmnada 🅄🄿🄳🄰🅃🄴🅂 ᗧ···ᗣ···ᗣ··· ▓ logbook:~ $ 09.09.26 • sober month is moving along. i've already lost 1.5kg in a little over a week, which is crazy. my skin is also already much healthier. also the money saved will be helpful with fixing some things around the house as we prepare for winter. i am trying to let this serve as a reminder to drink socially and limit my standard weekend binges. some wine here and there, some beers with friends, a rare cocktail at an event. i even went to my cantina and had a couple of mineral waters with salt and lime and my bartender was very supportive of my month of sobriety. love that! i need to go scouting for affordable paper soon for printmaking. i am also thinking of selling one of my printers that i rarely use to buy something a little more affordable ink/supply-wise. that is about it for today / this week. ▓ logbook:~ $ 07.09.26 • finally a bit of rain this weekend. collected nearly 1000 litres off our roof alone. plus our grey water has filled up nicely. we need a couple of more storms to fill the reserves back up and soon we will close the dam to start collecting for next dry season. el niño has meant an unpredictable and late wet season. so we are banking that it will be delayed into november and december. which could be great as we would be able to store enough water through until next summer with ease. but the risk is that the rains just won't come for what we need. in that case we will be forced to purchase water which is wasteful and expensive. but fingers crossed, tláloc will show us some love. ▓ logbook:~ $ 02.09.26 • stressful days between moments of exhilaration. trying to do the adulting thing again between anarchistic screams of angst as my body is being lodged once again into the cogs of bureaucratic capitalism. will try to get a September chapbook up. not sure if anyone is reading them, but sharing to the void is a talent. in other news, i am really focusing on improving my photography. that has been fun. also, i don't do sober october i go for septiembre sin alcohol. instead of beer it will be coffee, instead of wine, kombucha, and instead of cocktails, it will be all shrubs and fermented sparkling teas. yum.
