Dear reader,
Happy summer! It's Elliott, creator of Special Fish.
I wanted to send an email as a light reminder that Special Fish is still swimming. I invite you to update your profile and browse around.
I also want to ask for your support to keep Special Fish alive. It takes money and time to run this website, and these costs continue to increase. Special Fish's email services will cost $35/month alone to run.
Special Fish is not investor-backed. I truly don't believe in investor-backed websites. They don't have the users' best interests at heart, and eventually they will be sold and shut down.
Instead, Special Fish is made possible by the support of its users. Every user costs the site money. If you have the means, please consider supporting the site. A yearly subscription is suggested but one-time support is also possible. Supporting users help cover the cost of those who don't have the means to support the site.
