I'm asking the community to help keep Special Fish running this year. I run this site entirely on my own as a working artist, living off my work.
Special Fish depends on users like you for hosting, maintenance, and keeping the site running. Every user costs the site money. Things are going well. Being my employee has been emotionally challenging at times, but I am starting to like and understand my boss (me).

so far away, pressed to a seat watching snow fall on ground i can't touch
i've packed many things recently
and im planning to pack more for the journey back
i must not forget
the shirts, strings, tape and things
and i cant forget my to do list when they let me out of here
oh and don't forget that thing
your great aunt is dying maybe
grandma wasn't very particular
and don't forget that thought
make a decision on it yea
and don't forget to visit me!
and if you can manage it yea, fix your health
and while your at it i see dark in your eyes
get some more sleep will ya
and when you return i expect your work
you will feel bad when the others did more
you will feel lost when your friends are living other lives
you will feel small when the final 'ok' is tossed to your sketches
you will feel it
and i'm learning to love feeling everything
i think it'll be all we have pretty soon
it is *thursday* // ... getting back online but trying to limit classic social media. I thought it would be hard (#adhd brain), but it's actually been easy once I found equally stimulating but more educational means of using the internet [I guess this being considered one of them! even though I've been on here for a few months]. work has been really busy, but gearing up to be unemployed for the first time ever/since the 6th grade. not for long, just making lots of big life changes w grad school starting soon. I am very excited for these new adventures!
